When was the last time you wrote something down? And I am not talking about signing your name on something or filling in a form. I am asking when was the last time any of you actually sat down and wrote a page. Or two or three? How about even a single paragraph? In many of your cases the answer will simply be that you can’t remember. Because penmanship is kind of a dead art by this point. Or is it? In today’s article we are going to show you a few examples of gorgeous penmanship. Be it natural talent or hard work, when you see it you won’t be anything less than amazed.
The (lost) art of penmanship
When it comes to handwriting or penmanship, many of us will claim that it is a lost art. But I would like to be more positive. And I honestly believe that this form of art will not die anytime soon. At least not in my lifetime. Why? First of all because we are still teaching it in schools. I am talking here just about handwriting. Penmanship comes much later, with hard work and years of training. But teaching handwriting is a start. And that’s how anyone who claims to have a beautiful penmanship got started.
Many of these people discovered it by accident. Not even knowing that they have something this special until someone else told them.
