DIY Adorable Christmas Figurines Using Mittens

Steps:

1. Fill the Mittens:
   • Start by filling one mitten with white rice or stuffing material until it’s firm and plump. This will be the figurine’s body.
2. Secure the Mitten:
   • Use a rubber band or string to tie off the open end of the mitten to create the figurine’s body shape.
3. Create the Head:
   • Fill the second mitten with rice or stuffing, but make it smaller than the first. This will be the figurines’s head. You can use also wooden small balls.
   • Secure the open end with a rubber band or string.
4. Attach the Head:
   • Carefully glue the smaller mitten (head) on top of the larger mitten (body) using a glue gun.
5. Decorate the Face:
   • Attach buttons or beads for the eyes and mouth using glue.
   • Glue a small pom-pom or paint a fabric nose in the center for the carrot nose.
6. Add Arms (Optional):
   • If desired, attach small twigs or pipe cleaners as arms on either side of the figurine’s body.
7. Wrap a Scarf:
   • Cut a strip of felt or fabric to use as a scarf. Wrap it around the figurine’s neck and secure it in place with glue.
8. Create Coal-Like Buttons:
   • Use black fabric paint or markers to draw coal-like buttons down the front of the figurine’s body.
9. Top Hat (Optional):
   • If you have small hats or top hats, you can glue one to the figurine’s head for added style.
