Take a step further in your staircase decor
Therefore, when it comes to the actual steps of the stairs, there is little you can do with the decor. Mainly because that’s the area that you step on. So other than painting that surface in different colors or shapes and patterns, there is not much you can do. But even that is one gorgeous way to make your stairs unique. And if you decide to leave it at that, we couldn’t agree more. Although, we do have something for those who are willing to take it to the next level.
If you really want to make your staircase stand out and leave your guests amazed, then try decorating the risings of the steps. This is what almost all of the below projects are about. Be it with paint, washy tape, mosaic, chalkboard paint, writings, quotes, pictures or anything else you can imagine. All of these are acceptable and there are many more out there. We will only share a few with you to get you inspired and on the right track. There is nothing wrong that can happen and no bad decision you can make.
